WHAT IS VAR?
Victor Autism Resources (VAR) is a family focused organization in Southern Nevada which provides support to families regarding their child's development in functional communication. VAR offers consultation from an evidenced - based program to teach your child how to communicate through assistive technology. VAR also offers guidance, training, and follow up for parents and families. The final goal is to understand your child's communication system and improve functional communication throughout family and community setting.

OUR STORY
At the age of three, my son was diagnosed with autism and struggled to communicate. I felt helpless and did not know where to turn. Before long, I found myself indulging in the community resources and learning about A.B.A (applied behavioral analysis). Later, I acquired the knowledge of using pictures and high tech commication applications for communication through Assistive Technology. It wasn’t long before I realized that there is an enormous need for more services throughout the state of Nevada. Now that I have successfully raised my son and worked with so many children with developmental disabilities. I want to share my experiences, knowledge, and journey to help others. I want to give back to the community. This is why I started Victor Autism Resources (VAR)
